I explained very briefly about FREEEWAY-CER tapping procedure saying that if used correctly she would have the ability to remove very rapidly the negative emotions and that the anxiety she now felt, it would firstly start to fade and if necessary be removed completely if that was what she wished.

I confirmed that she was ok to carry on. I started to talk to her about different aspects of her feelings; her emotions were getting worse by the second. I asked her how she felt right now and to put her thoughts into words – without hesitation she said ‘very emotional’.

The MIL I expected to be a 10 because she was so distraught it was actually MIL – 8. Still very emotional, her breathing all over the place we started the first round of tapping; she followed my lead visibly and verbally. By the end of the first round her breathing had already calmed down a little.

Recalculated MIL. she said she was now at a 4, I praised her up saying How well she was doing I decided to change to CER Breathing Protocol from the 2nd round so as to try and gain more composure and to slow the whole process down a bit.

We recalculated the MIL – using lesser feeling emotional – The MIL was down to 1 we discussed the situation and she decided not to go down to 0. She didn’t want to remove the feeling, she was happy to be in control of it. There was a different person before me, her face had changed, and in fact her whole persona had changed. She was smiling and happy we were even joking. She also now yawned consistently.

Since that session I have been putting these notes together and had feed back from my client –

“I don’t know or really understand what John did, but it was magic. I’ve told **** about it and ****. You know me, if it hadn’t worked well enough for me I would have said”
